Brighton Festival of Lights

Prior to the ceremony, the public was able to visit Main Street Creatives Gallery for fun activities like Santa Comes to Town and The Teddy Bear & Friends Tree.  Face Vocal Band, the internationally acclaimed all-vocal rock band from Boulder, performed at Founders Plaza. FACE also helped City Council countdown as the Christmas Tree was lit. The tree lighting was sponsored by United Power and entertainment was sponsored by the Brighton Cultural Arts Commission and SCFD.

The parade includes more than 75 fully-lighted entries. This year, historic downtown activities begin at 11 and the winter festival activities will begin at 2 p.m. The 19th Annual Festival of Lights Parade starts at 5 p.m.  The parade travels south on North Main Street, turns east on Bridge St. to 10th Avenue to Southern Ave., turns east to where it shall return to city hall.

Other Events and places in Brighton include a Taste of Brighton the Brighton Summerfest, the Colorado Tiny Home Festival, Oasis Family Aquatic Park, Barr Lake State Park, Brighton Rec Center & Berry Patch Farms.
