Important: We do not excavate or construct new sump pump pits. A sump pit must already be present for us to install a new sump pump system.

Colorado Green does not dig, excavate, or construct new sump pits.

For a new sump pump installation, your home must already have a properly constructed sump pit.

If the pit already exists, our plumbers can evaluate the setup and determine what is needed to complete the sump pump and discharge-line installation.

Sump Pump Discharge Lines

The pump is only one part of the system. Once water enters the sump pit, it needs a properly installed discharge line to carry that water away from the home.

We can install or repair sump pump discharge piping for an existing sump pit and sump pump system.

If you're experiencing leaks, poor drainage, or problems with an existing discharge line, we can evaluate the piping and recommend the appropriate repair.

Yes, as long as your home already has an existing sump pit. We can install the sump pump and necessary discharge piping. We do not excavate or construct new sump pits.

Do you replace existing sump pumps?

Yes. If your existing sump pump has failed or needs replacement, we can remove the old pump and install a new one in the existing pit.

Can you repair a sump pump instead of replacing it?

Sometimes. It depends on the cause of the problem, the condition and age of the pump, and which component has failed. We'll evaluate the system and explain your repair and replacement options.

Can you install or repair the sump pump discharge line?

Yes. We can install or repair discharge piping associated with an existing sump pump system.

How do I know if my sump pump is working?

Depending on your system, you can often test it by carefully adding enough water to the pit to raise the float. The pump should turn on, remove the water, and shut off afterward. If it doesn't activate, doesn't remove the water, or continues running, it should be inspected.

Do you install sump pits in homes that don't already have one?

No. Colorado Green does not dig or construct sump pits. If your home does not currently have a sump pit, you would need to have the pit installed by a contractor who performs such excavation or drainage work before we could install the pump and discharge system.
